Do we really listen to God as the authority on our life? As we pray the Lord’s Prayer and say “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” we are not just saying a bunch of words but rather we are acknowledging that God is the authority of our life. We are not called to give God lip service every Sunday, but to live a life of love in response to his calling us. “We give God the glory if we trust in His grace that He does everything and that our work, righteousness, ability, and merit cannot save us or eradicate sin.” —Johannes Bugenhagen, early Reformer with Marin Luther. God LOVES us unconditionally and FORGIVES us unconditionally and in Jesus Christ God has done ALL that is needed for our salvation. Let us each live a life on this wonderful truth.
