Joyful Noise Schedule
1.18 Rehearsal at 7
1.25 Rehearsal at 7
1.28 Play for Church—I would like to entertain with some hymns! More details to come.
1.28 (afternoon) Record Amazing Grace music video. My plan is to go grab lunch (or have a potluck?) Then record amazing grace with Derrill and the singers. It might take 2-3 Hours, but we can come and go as needed. I will have a recording schedule after Christmas.
If you know someone who is interested in playing with us, please invite them to rehearsal. It’s not a huge commitment and we have fun!
Recorder Consort Forming in January!
On January 23 at 7:30, I will be hosting the first meeting of the FLC Joyful Noise Recorder Consort! We will discuss the focus of the group, order instruments and have a great time! If you, or someone you know, would like to play the recorder, please pass along this information! We will have it out on the website and social media also.
NO, you do NOT have to know how to play the recorder! That’s the beauty of the recorder…it is EASY to learn.
We will start with a group containing SOPRANO and ALTO recorders. If you don’t have an instrument, that is OK! We will be putting in an order for quality instruments. They range from $5-$25 and come in different colors and sizes. If you already have one, bring it!
If you have any questions, please let me know!
firstname.lastname@example.org or 620-640-2252
Play another instrument? We would love to have you! We are starting with three ensembles, then hope to expand to more groups.
Our purpose is to accompany worship services throughout the year. We will play on special occasions, including Easter and Oktoberfest services, work with the choir and hand bell choir and offer special music. Different ensembles will play on different occasions, so the schedule will be flexible among participants.
Interested musicians should use the form below to let us know of your talent. If you have any immediate questions, please contact Kelsey Scheuerman at email@example.com or 620-640-2252.
