We are heartily grateful for all the volunteers that make Island Oktoberfest Galveston’s premier fall event!
Each year, Oktoberfest generates funding that is transferred to First Lutheran to support the outreach ministries of the church including Fanfare! Lutheran Music Academy, restoration of the historic 1867 Lyceum Community Center, Homeless Outreach through the Luke Society, and food for the Galveston County Food Bank.
Portions of the Oktoberfest proceeds are also dedicated to our congregation’s $50,000 commitment to support the development of the Zion Retreat Center, 69th Street and Stewart Road.
We look forward to your being with us! And… admission is free!
